WEB.COM is AWFUL. Due To Error after Error I Couldn't Publish My Site
They have cost me a lot of money - I wish I would've know before signing a contract with them. It's taken hours on the phone trying to correct their mistakes and when they fix one thing another went back with my product images and incorrect links to the store.
Yes they'll be very nice on the phone and say they'll fix it but ultimately are incompetent giving me another 24-48hr turn around on the new problem. I have not been able to promote my site as my built in audience has been waiting I had to push back my launch date several times it's been awful. Don't give them your money.
I am switching as soon as I can get my new site built the way I want it with everything functioning properly. Don't use them spare yourself the grief.

Signed up for Facebook service. I was advised I will not be charged for the 1st month and cancel the service without getting charged within the 1st month.
They charged my card and does not want to return my money. I had an issue with them before. I signed up for them to create my website, I was not happy. I cancelled and it took them 3 months to return my money.
I should have learnt from the my first contact with them.
They transfer you from one agent to another. Worst company ever to deal with!

Webcom Website Development Review
They made promises they didn't hold up to. The website they built was a disgrace and getting a refund was like pulling teeth.
They transferred me from one representative after another just for me to keep telling the same story. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Web.com is ripping me off.
I purchased a website from Web.com some time ago and it has done nothing but harm my business. I own and operate a small martial arts school in the Chicago land area.
I thought web based advertising would bring more kids into the program. But the initial site they uploaded mad it seem like I only teach old people Tai Chi. I love old people and Tai Chi but it decimated my kids market. When I complained they changed the site, and it's still hard to get around in but the damage had already been done.
They offered to stop billing me for a few months and then sell me the site outright but I told them I didn't want it.
So they never contacted me back to rebill, and now it really smacks of DECEPTIVE PRACTICE. I will also be contacting the better business bureau.
Zero integrity liars and thieves
I purchased a domain name from networksolutions in Oct. 2014, noticed they had charged my Credit Card for hosting.
I called cancelled any hosting that they claimed I had purchased they issued a refund and apologized. A year later I come to find out that web.com has been charging my account for one year under the same bogus claim. When I called them they tell me I should have called web.com too back in 2014. They say they are not connected to networksolutions.com.
That is another lie on top of all other lies.

Web.com Refuse to cancel if you do it in writing
During March 2015 i subscribed to web.com, the service delivery was pathetic therefor decided to find another service provider.
I complained in writing to web.com as well as that they debit my bank without permission and informed them that i do not wish to continue, they responded that i must call to cancel i cannot do it in writing
Once again a month later [today] they debited my bank account without permission, they continued to close my complaint and again said i must phone to cancel, again i informed them that it will incur cost therefor in writing. even informed that i cannot do it via skype. i asked them if they will reimburse me or why do they not call me.
ALL IN VAIN - WHY DID THEY NOT INSIST ON A TELEPHONE CALL WHEN I SUBSCRIBE?
YOU CAN JOIN ELECTRONICALLY BUT YOU CANNOT CANCEL - THEY ARE TURNING A BLIND EYE AND CONTINUE TO ENRICH THEMSELVES WITH THE CALL TO CANCEL SCAM
I kept proof of all communique and their deliberate ignorance

Scam
I tried up for a free trial over 2 years ago, told them I was not interested in their service, and have been billed nonetheless for the last 2 years. DO NOT EVEN ACCEPT A FREE TRIAL FROM THEM.
It looks like I will have to pay my bank a one time fee to block their access to my accounts and to prevent any further withdrawals. On the phone, they tell you to cancel on line, and online, there is no way to cancel and you are told to do so by phone. In other words, there does not appear to be any way to cancel.
The BBB has not been effective. Has anyone contacted the US Attorney

Haven't even signed up and already we are being harassed!
My boss had one meeting with a digital marketing consultant, it has been almost a year since that meeting and the consultant continues to constantly BARGE into our office without being invited. Normally I'm all for following up with potential clients because it shows that they are interested in making you feel like you're being taken care of.
BUT, with this guy it is just out of hand! I feel like after the third or fourth call/meeting, sales reps should be able to take a hint. My boss didn't feel like this company was the right fit for him, this is NORMAL these things happen all the time. Michael C.
doesn't understand this, he comes in whenever he's "in the area" and will sit in our waiting room for 30 mins-1 hour "hoping to catch the doctor for a few minutes". Then I set up another meeting between my boss and him but then my boss asked me to cancel it a day before. From 10 am the day before the meeting until 10 minutes before the meeting was supposed to start, I called multiple times, left messages, and even sent out two e-mails. I never received a response and he still showed up this time with his "partner".
When I told him that I had called, left messages, and e-mailed his reply was "Oh well I never check my messages, missed calls, or e-mails". What does that tell you about this business? How are you supposed to keep your clients happy if they can't get in touch with you? Finally we told him that we went with another company and what do you know...he STILL shows up!!!
He was upset because he said that he felt that my boss had left him under the impression that Web.com was the right fit for his business!
Really? He still wants to talk to my boss even though I have made it blatantly clear that my boss is not interested.
WEB.COM will steal your money
I inquired online about building an online website. After contact by the WEB.COM sales team I told them that I was not interested because I couldn't afford their service.
The lady told me that she would cancel my account and a year later I finally got them to stop taking money from my account. I got the BBB involved but that really doesn't seem to matter. These folks are deceptive, period. DO NOT GIVE THEM A CREDIT CARD NUMBER.
They will continue to bill you. After this fiasco I talked to several other people that have used other web site builders that were much cheaper so do your homework folks, and buyer beware with these crooks.

These people are VICIOUS
I, too, fell for the "low intro price" trap.
$3.90 for a domain name seemed like a small amount initially. Until it shot up to $24.90. They debited it from my card automatically.
When I saw the charge I called to get it credited back and the account cancelled for good. What an ordeal! They refused to until I heard their spiel. Refused to put me onto a supervisor. Even when I gave them my password they made it as unpleasant and kept trying to talk me back into giving them my money. Terrible.
Webcom - Web Development Review from Kinnelon, New Jersey
They are part of Network Solutions. This gives them credibility.
They host my business web site. They contacted we to optimize my web site. They said I needed a new site. We set up the site.
After a brief free period, the charges came pouring in for months after that. They do no optimization.
I think I spent a couple of thousand dollars with them and never got one inquiry. This is a scam
Will not stop emailing me
I cancelled my account over 2 mos ago I am still being emailed about payments and wanting to help me design a web site. 7 people with 3 being supervisors have told me all is cancelled and the domain as well.
They all lied. I have a heart condition and every time I receive emails from this *** co I am getting chest pains. If I end up in Hosp there will be a lawsuit.
Do not use this company. They will stalk you for ever.

Webcom Billing Department Review from Mountain View, California
After starting an llc they started pushing service i continually declined and they continued to call 5 or more times a day. 3 years later and multiple calls demanding they stop charging me for services i declined they are still stealing from my bank account!
This business is crooked and needs to be shut down! Beware of web.com this is a bad business stealing from innocent people!
Thought I was signing up for 2.95 a month! Not!
Thank God my son pointed out this discrepancy to me! Web.com are actually going to start charging 32.95 after one month!
Thieves! Then an addon that is 1.00 first month goes up to 10.00 thereafter. I will be canceling my credit card tomorrow as I have seen all the other customer's problems in canceling their account - best to just cancel credit card but a bit of a hassle! Outrageous!
How are these people allowed to continue in business?
I genuinely believed their offer was legitimate. So glad I did not discover months later but still a nuisance.
